The sales team and the general manager were excellent. But the standard of interior valeting on handover day was dissappointing
I was in for an MOT not a service
Lack of communication and inconvenience. Noises audible from car that were not present when purchased contrary to terms of Approved Used BMW standards. This car does not provide an enjoyable or reassuring driving experience.

Having your car serviced is not a problem. When you have a component failure trying to get it resolved that a different matter. Waiting two weeks before they can book your vehicle in for repair, I would say is not very customer focused.
After buying the car the rear tail light began to stick out. I took it to Harry Fairbairn who the told me I had damaged it and removed it and had glued it back again Very angry as I would not have a clue how to do this and would never attempt such a
Checked everything and a little more
Appointment was easy to arrange at a convenient time to me. On arrival I was seen punctually and courteously. My car was ready when I expected it to be. Offered coffee, biscuits and a newspaper while I waited, and a courtesy car wash and vacuum.

On booking MOT I requested that it be done first thing as I was a waiting appointment. I was told at it had not been booked as a waiting appointment but they would do it asap. I arrived at 8.40 am and left at 11.40 am, it passed. Too long for an MOT
The service Manager mr Jon foster is the most person I have spoken to in a long time and certainly not what I was expecting.

After initial visit my car went into safe mode,returned car and technician rechecked and found an air feed pipe had not been resecured properly,was repaired while I waited.
I knocked a star off because I didn't get my phone call returned.
Call Centre made appointment with me and gave me times for car in and car out. On arrival at garage was told car would not be ready at arranged time (2pm) , but 5pm instead. No point in Call Centre making appointments if garage cannot honour them.

Good service however 2 days after the service both the front/rear tow-bar cover have fallen off.
On this occasion I took my car in for a service but they were unable to carry out the work because the correct oil filter was not in stock. The service advisor was very apologetic and the work was carried out satisfactorily a fortnight later.
Very welcoming ambience in the dealership, with competent, knowledgeable, approachable staff. All work carried out to a high standard with car delivered back in a clean condition. Only slight downside was that it took over 3 hours to carry out job.

I have spent approximately £110 thousand pounds over the last 9 years on BMW cars and i retire in 2 years with a big lump sum, i won't be spending it at your dealership the after service has got horrendous and on this occasion worse.
