Great service from start to finish staff friendly and knowledgeable
Harry Fairburn Kirkcaldy make the service experience a pleasure, they are always very attentive, knowledgeable as well as efficiently carrying out the work. The important point is that they give me complete trust in their looking after my car.
The latest episode concerns a recall. The dealership told me it could be weeks before they could provide a replacement vehicle whilst mine was in for the recall. They told me to use the BMW Emergency Service, which I did and who were excellent.
Work was carried out timeously, Staff were friendly, price for performance parts was competitive.
I had a query about my cars Adblue usage before the service, This issue was not addressed at the service! I had to arrange an inspection and test of the Adblue usage, this has been done, and I am informed the issue is resolved. I shall wait and see?
Fitted new tires without any issues no damage to the alloy wheels so I was very happy.
Done what was asked.
Again disappointed at the wash & valet. Also felt I was being ripped off with the cost quoted to renew the rear tyres over £200 more expensive than black circles.

The dealer takes a very long time to book anything in to get fixed, and a lack of courtesy cars is terrible.

I've just had to ask for my car to be checked later this week as my car is intermittently juddering even on the flat straight road. My husbands has taken it on a long run and we've put in ultimate BP diesel but still a problem. Disappointed.
On time; pleasant greeting on arrival; arranged transport when job overran; car valeted; efficient at all times.
Excellent customer service from the staff I've dealt with there. Jacqueline and her colleagues always seem to do as much for the client as is possible for them to do. Sometimes they can't make their price as competitive as I can get elsewhere.

The most important factors at Kirkcaldy are the helpful and friendly service advisors. Honesty during the service. Being advised at all stages of the service. The concierge service when being taken to your car and the free valet service.
Should probably be 5, but that would leave no room for improvement.
The service department went out there way to make the experience as painless as possible. Making sure I had a vehicle while my car was being serviced. Even when the job took longer than expected they allowed me to keep the car , thus no inconvenience

please ask the staff not to make assumptions and to read people's name correctly. the car is mine not my partner's - you assumed it was his and spoke to him and I'm not married so not a 'mrs'...
A QUALITY BRAND WITH THE QUALITY ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER
Unsuitable courtesy car, only offered a mini cooper convertible when I have a 1 year old son and a pram to fit in it. I paid for a BMW, I exoect a BMW courtesy car.

Took a whole day for diagnosis to be done for light replacement to then be told part would need to be ordered in. I said I would wait 4 weeks for courtesy car. When I arrived on day was told courtesy car had not been returned by previous customer.

The sales process was very much based on my requirements and business was conducted in a highly professional manner. The car was made available sooner than I expected and that was an added bonus.

Nothing was too much trouble and process simple
No problem with the sales process, my only issue is that when paying the balance, my bank asked for a secondary security check. The only phone available was at reception. I had to answer security questions in public, which was not good.
